Session #2 Sunlight & Plant Placement

Sunlight is one of the most powerful forces behind healthy plant growth—and one of the most misunderstood by new gardeners. This class will provide a strong foundation in how sunlight affects plant success, including how plants convert solar energy into nutrients through photosynthesis, how to observe and track the sun’s movement across a garden space, and how to make informed decisions about plant placement. By understanding how to pair plants with the light they truly need, participants will avoid common pitfalls like poor placement, stunted growth, and wasted effort—gaining the confidence to grow with intention and success.
